Sakura Sweater V-neck

Sakura Sweater is knit from the top down. First the back piece is knit flat with shoulder increases. Then stitches are picked up at the shoulders for the front pieces and worked flat while simultaneously knitting increases for the neck. The shoulders are joined, and the front piece is knit flat until it reaches the same length as the back piece. The front piece and back piece are joined and knit in the round. The body is finished with a long 1 x 1 rib. The stitches are picked up around the sleeves where the sleeve cap is shaped with short rows and then knit in the round. The sleeves are finished with a broad 1 x 1 rib. Finally, stitches for the folded collar are picked up and knit in a long 1 x 1 folded rib.

Needles: Circular needle 5,5 mm (40, 60, 80/100 cm), circular needl 4,5 mm (40, 80/100 cm), double pointed needles 4,5 mm (or use the Magic Loop technique).

Gauge: 10 x 10 cm = 15 sts x 24 rows in stockinette knit with needle 5,5 mm after washing and blocking the swatch

The sweater should have a positive ease of about 20-30 cm.
